Warranty & Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return-to-base warranty unless stated otherwise. The warranty period begins from the seller’s original dispatch date.

Our warranty covers items which are not functional due to a specific hardware fault. This applies to all components, including fans, hard drives, keyboards, touchpads, LCD panels, hinges, USB ports, unless specifically excluded.

Consumable parts such as laptop battery or mobile phone battery are not covered under warranty.

Batteries are tested to hold charge however as they are used batteries and we cannot promise or commit to a minimum battery discharge/run time.

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Physical Damage
  • Accidental Damage
  • Battery Issues
  • Software Issues
  • Data Recovery

You may return your product that is still under warranty for a Warranty Claim. Sims Lifecycle Services offers a Return-to-Base Warranty with all our items. This means that you are responsible for returning the items covered by Warranty at your expense

Please note when returning items, please select a shipping method that provides a tracking service and consider insuring the product for the amount of your original purchase price in the event the item goes missing. Sims Lifecycle Services is not liable for any losses incurred in posting the item back.

Sims Lifecycle Services requires a Return Authorisation (RA) number for all returns. You may initiate a return and request your RA number by emailing SAP_DPP_AU@simsmm.com with a copy of your proof of purchase.

RA numbers are valid for 30 days.


Once the RA number has been issued, you will receive an email explaining the return process. The RA number must be displayed on the outside of all packages

The seller at its discretion, may either repair the fault using new or refurbished parts, replace the item with a similar spec’d item or refund the purchase price.

No Additional Warranty is provided for the devices after the 30 day period.

We exclude all liability and responsibility to you for all other loss or damage that you might suffer provided that this exclusion does not include or limit our liability for

(i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence
(ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or
(iii) any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.
